Current C2C Fellow
The C2C Fellowship Program helps vulnerable and at-risk girls in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh continue their education after 10th standard while building a pathway toward greater opportunity, independence, and the power to shape their own futures.
For many girls, 10th standard is a critical transition point. Financial and other social barriers can prevent them from continuing their education, limiting their future opportunities. The Fellowship provides financial support to help girls stay in school while giving them the education, skills, and support they need to take their next steps.
Growing Opportunity
Over the past four academic years, C2C has committed approximately $120,000 in Fellowship grants. The program has grown from 22 Fellows in 2023–24 to 29 Fellows in 2026–27. In total, 68 girls have received Fellowship support to date.
While the Fellowship is still a relatively young program, we are beginning to see encouraging signs of impact beyond financial support. Three Fellows have completed the program and moved into paid employment. As more Fellows complete their education and enter the workforce, we will be able to better understand the program’s longer-term impact on employment and economic independence.
Girls Helping Girls
An especially encouraging development is the way Fellows are beginning to share what they have learned with other girls in their communities.
During the first three years of the program, Fellows have provided educational and skills-based support to 669 additional girls, including through activities such as school enrollment support, English and digital literacy, climate education, and exam preparation. In 2025–26 alone, Fellows reached an additional 260 girls.
This is not the primary measure of the Fellowship’s success, but it reflects something important: girls who receive support are beginning to use their knowledge, skills, and confidence to support others. They are becoming mentors, sharing knowledge, and taking on leadership roles in their communities.
Looking Ahead
The Fellowship is still in its early years, and many Fellows are continuing their education. As more girls graduate, pursue higher education or training, and enter the workforce, C2C will have a clearer picture of the program’s long-term outcomes.
What we are seeing already is promising. The Fellowship is helping girls overcome barriers to education at a critical point in their lives—and giving them greater opportunity, confidence, and choice as they build their futures.
And when girls have the opportunity to transform their own lives, they can help transform the lives of others, creating a ripple effect of positive change across their families and communities.
