Where we are today

Our Partners

C2C is committed to creating systematic and cultural change by educating abandoned and impoverished girls in South Asia. We carefully select & guide our local partners who rescue and rehabilitate at-risk girls and we invest in education initiatives, supervise program implementation and execution, and measure its impact. C2C works with a number of partners. These include:

  • Centre for Social Service, located in Guntur Dt, Andhra Pradash, India, primarily cares for impoverished young girls from the rural villages of South India.

  • Chattogram Balika Sadan, located in Chattogram, Bangladesh, serves orphaned, Muslim girls through imparting fundamental education and vocational training.

  • Food For Life, located in Vrindavan, India, serves underprivileged girls in the area through three schools using a service-oriented approach.

  • Foster Care, located in Mumbai, India, primarily cares for children from families in financial despair.

  • Little Flower Children’s Home, located in Bangalore, India, primarily cares for children afflicted with HIV/AIDS.

  • Muni Seva Ashram, located in Gujarat, India, primarily serves underprivileged children from tribal and minority communities in the local regions.

  • Salaam Baalak Trust (“SBT”), located in New Delhi, India, primarily rescues and educates street children from all over India.

  • Seva Sadan, located in Mumbai, Maharastra, India with a mission to protect, educate and empower disadvantaged girls.

  • SPRJK Trust, located in Mumbai, Maharastra, India, provides underprivileged girls and women with access to education so that they have an equal opportunity to participate in society.

  • The Small World, located in Solukhumbhu, Nepal, is the first of its kind in the Everest region to provide a safe and quality place to live for orphaned, abandoned, and highly vulnerable children at severe risk from trafficking, forced child labor, and other serious abuses.

  • Udayan, working across India, offers a Shalini Fellowship that sponsors education of underprivileged teenage girls from urban areas and encourages them to obtain advanced degrees.

PARTNER SELECTION

Commit2Change applies comprehensive and stringent criteria when selecting C2C Partners with whom we will work. These include:

  • The C2C Partner must be registered as a non-profit organization in its home country for a minimum of 1 year, and must possess the requisite certificates specifying the grant of “non-profit” status, “IT exemption” and permissions to receive sponsorships in the form of foreign currency.

  • The C2C Partner must have a primary focus on impacting change in the lives of disadvantaged girls.

  • The C2C Partner must have a shared vision and purpose with Commit2Change.

  • The C2C Partner must be willing to provide timely updates regarding donations and adequate support for site visits and ad hoc requests throughout the year.

  • The C2C Partner must publish an annual report that contains a description of the main activities and goals achieved during the year, and should be available upon request.

  • The C2C Partner must have audited financial statements available for review.
