A remarkable year

This has been a remarkable year for C2C, and we could not have done it without you. Together, we reached a milestone of serving over 10,000 girls, many of whom we have had the privilege of supporting over multiple years. We also celebrated our highest graduation rate yet: 98.6%.

Behind these numbers are girls who stayed in school when the odds were against them. Girls who found their voice, built confidence, and began to imagine a different future for themselves.

This year, we also expanded our programming for older girls, creating more opportunities for skilling, mentorship, and internships. These experiences are opening real pathways to employment and financial independence — helping girls not only dream of a better future, but step into it.

Every gift, no matter the size, made this possible. Because of you, more girls are gaining the support and opportunity they need to take their next step — whether that's continuing their education, entering the workforce, or becoming leaders in their communities.

As we look ahead, we are filled with hope. With you by our side, we will continue to deepen our impact and ensure that every girl we serve has the chance to choose her own path.

The girls behind the numbers

Every statistic represents a girl who defied the odds. Here are four of their stories.

Rathna

Orphaned at 12, Rathna came to Infant Jesus Children's Home in Bangalore. C2C sponsored her education from 2016–2021, then again in 2024 for her BSc in Interior Design. She graduates in June 2026 and plans to pursue an MSc while working in tech.

"C2C has helped me stay on track, pursue my goals, and continue my journey toward independence."

Jayashree

Growing up in extreme poverty in Odisha, Jayashree arrived at Hariharananda Balashram at age three. Once too shy to speak in class, she now leads activities, has developed skills in computers and robotics, and dreams of becoming an astronaut.

"C2C has provided a safe, encouraging environment that helped me rise above fear."

Sapna

At 20, Sapna is a C2C Fellow studying Sociology and Philosophy at IOP College in Vrindavan. She grew up in a one-room house struggling to pay rent. Now she's preparing for the UPSC exam, aspiring to become an IAS officer.

"Without the support of C2C, continuing my education would have been very difficult."

Gayathri

A dedicated C2C teacher at Hariharananda Balashram, Gayathri has guided orphaned girls through hands-on English learning for two years. One student, Anita, transformed from a girl who avoided eye contact to one who confidently leads class activities.

"To see a child transform like that — it touched me deeply."
